I am a professional engineer and homeowner looking for a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy house sitter to care for my home in Harlingen, Texas, while I am away. Because of my work, I travel frequently and manage properties in several different states. I currently have five homes, so I understand how important it is to have someone dependable who can look after a property properly and communicate clearly. I also have children and a busy family schedule, which makes having someone responsible and respectful around the home especially important. I am looking for someone who treats a home with care and understands the importance of privacy, security, cleanliness, and responsibility. ### Position Details

• **Location:** Harlingen, Texas
• **Pay:** $80 per hour
• **Position:** House Sitter
• **Schedule:** Flexible, depending on my travel schedule
• **Experience:** Previous house-sitting experience is helpful but not required

### Responsibilities Your main responsibility will be keeping the property safe, secure, and well-maintained while I am away. Duties may include:

• Staying at or regularly checking on the property as agreed
• Keeping the house clean and organized
• Collecting mail and packages
• Taking out trash when necessary
• Checking doors, windows, and basic security
• Looking after plants
• Caring for pets, if applicable
• Notifying me promptly about maintenance issues or anything unusual
• Handling basic household tasks
• Being available to respond appropriately to unexpected household situations
• Providing regular updates so I know everything is in good condition

I am not looking for someone to perform complicated maintenance or professional services. I mainly need someone dependable who will treat the property respectfully and make sure everything remains in good order. What I’m Looking For The right person should be:
